New Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 engine and dimensions details revealed
While we are just a short few weeks away from the launch of the all-new Himalayan 450, its new spy pictures and details are still making the headlines. In the most recent development, a leaked document about the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has revealed its power output and dimensions. Interestingly, the leaked document mentions the upcoming Royal Enfield as, the Himalayan 452, which also its displacement. However, the official name for the motorcycle has yet to be revealed. The bike maker has already sent a block-your-date invitation between 30 October and 1 November, 2023, where the first media rides, probably along with unveiling, of the new Himalayan are likely to take place in Manali, Himachal Pradesh.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Powertrain
The most significant details about the all-new Himalayan 450 have been disclosed. According to the leaked document, the Himalayan 450 will come powered by 451.65cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40PS at 8,000rpm. However, its torque output figure is not mentioned in the document, but we expect the motorcycle to make 40-45Nm of torque. Mated to this engine will be a six-speed gearbox.

The upcoming Himalayan 450 measures 2,245mm in length, 852mm in width (900mm if opted for handguards), and 1,316mm (1,415mm with optional windscreen). It has a wheelbase of 1,510mm.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Features and Specifications
The Himalayan 450, as seen in the previous spy photos, will get a new circular colour TFT display. Other features could include upside down front forks, a rear monoshock, all-LED lighting, a single-disc brake setup at both ends (probably to be 320mm front and 300mm rear setup from the Super Meteor 650), traction control, slip and assist clutch, dual-channel ABS. It will also come with Ceat dual-purpose tyres.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450: Pricing and Launch
Royal Enfield is set to organise the annual biking festival, called Motoverse, formally Rider Mania, in Vagator, Goa, between 24 and 26 November, 2023. We believe, it will announce the prices of the new Himalayan 450 at its event. Speaking of which, the KTM 390 Adventure competitor is likely to cost around Rs 2.50 lakh and onwards with a few choices of variants.
