New Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 accessories prices start at Rs 950

The prices of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 accessories have been revealed after its launch at the Motoverse 2023. In fact, the accessories-equipped Himalayan 450 was on a display at the Royal Enfield Genuine Accessories stall at the event. That being said, the bike maker recently began customer deliveries of the ADV in the country. It is to be noted that prospective buyers have their last chance to avail special introductory prices of the new Himalayan 450 until 31 December, 2023. The introductory prices start at Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Base variant, while the Pass variant costs Rs 2.74 lakh (ex-showroom). The range-topping Summit comes with a sticker price of Rs 2.84 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield offers more accessories, such as auxiliary lights, tail bag, rally dual seat, tapered handlebar, rally gear lever, rally hand-guards, and rally mudguard. However, the prices of these accessories are yet to be updated on the official website.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Features and specifications

The Himalayan 450 gets an all-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled four-inch colour TFT display, ride-by-wire system, switchable dual-channel ABS, slip-and-assist clutch, a USB Type-C socket, and three ride modes. It comes with Showa upside-down front forks, a linkage-type rear monoshock, a 320mm single front disc with a dual piston calliper, a 270mm rear disc with a single piston calliper, a 90/90 21 section front tyre, and 140/80 R17 section rear tyre.

Further, the kerb weight of the new Himalayan 450 is rated at 196kg (with 90 per cent fuel and oil). It boasts a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres. The seat height of the Himalayan 450 stands at 825mm, however, customers can opt for optional low-seat or tall-seat which lowers or raises seat height to 805mm or 845mm, respectively. Meanwhile, it has a ground clearance of 230mm.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Engine, power output

The Himalayan 450 comes powered by 451.65cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 40.02PS at 8,000rpm and 40Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The ADV takes on the KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS that makes 43.5PS at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,000rpm and 34PS at 9,250rpm and 28Nm at 7,500rpm, respectively.
