Earlier this month, spy images of several upcoming Royal Enfield motorcycles, including the Bobber 350 and Scrambler 650, surfaced online. Another test mule, the refreshed Scram 411, has now been spotted during testing, featuring alloy wheels. This updated version of the Scram 411 is expected to be equipped with tubeless tires, similar to the 2023 Interceptor 650 and 2023 Continental GT 650.

Upcoming Variant of Royal Enfield Scram 411: Alloy Wheels

As depicted in the spy photographs, the Scram 411 test prototype is fitted with multi-spoke alloy wheels and is likely to feature tubeless tires, which notably reduce the risk of punctures. The current model employs a 100/90 19 section front tire and a 120/90 17 section rear tire. Additionally, Royal Enfield is expected to offer an LED headlamp, updated switchgear, and a USB charging port, aligning with the features seen in the 2023 INT 650 and 2023 Continental GT 650.

This enhancement places the upcoming Scram 411 in a favourable position compared to its current model, enabling it to go against with competitors such as the all-new Triumph Scrambler 400X and Yezdi Scrambler. Triumph's Scrambler 400X offers a notably elevated level of advanced features and equipment in contrast to the Scram 411. Further, it offers more potent engine than its Royal Enfield counterpart. Considering the strong response garnered by the Speed 400, Triumph is likely envisioning a similar, or greater, response for the all-new Scrambler 400X. This reception could potentially impact the sales of Royal Enfield's Scram 411.

The refreshed Scram 411 might also receive new colour options to infuse a renewed visual appeal. Presently, the existing model offers a choice of seven colour selections: Blazing Red, Graphite Yellow, Graphite Blue, Graphite Red, Skyline Blue, Silver Spirit, and White Flame.

Updated Royal Enfield Scram 411: Specifications

The updated Scram 411 is expected to retain its existing mechanical components, including telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock, a 300mm front disc brake with a two-piston floating calliper, a 240mm rear single disc brake with a single-piston floating calliper, and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle boasts a seat height of 795mm and a ground clearance of 200mm. Notably, its weight stands at 185kg.

Updated Royal Enfield Scram 411: Engine

The Scram 411 comes powered by a 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine paired with a five-speed gearbox. This engine delivers 24.31PS and a peak torque of 32Nm.

Updated Royal Enfield Scram 411: Launch and Prices

Anticipated to be launched in the upcoming months, the refreshed Scram 411 with alloy wheels could carry a slightly higher price tag compared to the current model, which is priced between Rs 2.06 lakh and Rs 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom).
