TVS Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect launched at Rs 84,468
TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of its Jupiter, called the Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect in India at Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new variant, with SmartXonnect, benefits from Bluetooth connectivity, which was previously exclusive to the disc variant. The ZX Drum SmartXonnect sits between ZX and ZX Disc that are priced at Rs 82,133 (ex-showroom) and Rs 86,413 (ex-showroom), respectively. Meanwhile, the top spec Jupiter Disc SmartXonnect comes with a sticker price of Rs 88,988 (ex-showroom).
TVS Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect: What is new?
TVS uses its SmartXonnect Bluetooth-enabled system in a variety of scooters and motorcycles. This system offers a range of features, such as SMS and call notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and voice assist. For this, one can pair their smartphone to the display via TVS SmartXonnect app available on iOS and Android. TVS has also given it a new Olive Gold paint job. In addition, the scooter gets a USB charging port.
TVS Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect: Engine
Powering the Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect is a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine coupled to a CVT transmission. This motor generates 7.88PS and 8.8Nm of torque.
TVS Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect: Specifications
The Jupiter ZX boasts 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear. Further, it comes with 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, while TVS has bestowed it with telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5.8 litres.

The Jupiter takes on the likes of the segment best-seller Honda Activa 6G and Hero Pleasure+ Xtec. The prices of the former range between Rs 76,233 and Rs 82,234 (ex-showroom), while the prices of the latter start from Rs 70,338 and go up to Rs 82,238 (both ex-showroom).
