Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition launched in India; prices start at Rs 16.19 lakh
Skoda has introduced the Kushaq Matte Edition in India with prices starting at Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom). This is not only a new special edition model but is also a limited edition version with only 500 units allocated to the market. Based on the top-spec Style trim, it attracts a higher premium of Rs 40,000. The Matte Edition of the SUV is available with both 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre engine options, as well as with manual and automatic transmissions.
Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition: Design
The most significant change for the Kushaq Matte Edition comes in the form of a new Carbon Steel paint job paired with glossy black design elements, such as ORVM caps, door handles, and a roof spoiler. However, the grille, Skoda badges, and model designation retain its chrome finish. The SUV also carries forward the same design.
Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition: Powertrain
Powering the Kushaq Matte Edition is a 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 115PS and 178Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol motor with 150PS and 250Nm of torque. The former is coupled to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, while the latter is mated to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition: Features
Skoda has equipped the Kushaq Matte Edition with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric sunroof, cooled glovebox, ESP, six airbags, auto headlamps and wiper, hill hold control, TPMS, ventilated front seats, cruise control, and LED headlights, among others.
