Hyundai sells a total of 60,249 units in July 2021

Hyundai motor India Ltd registered a total of 60,249 car sales for the month of July 2021. The company is India's first smart mobility solution provider and also the largest exporter since it was established.

Domestic sales for July 2021 was up by 25.8 percent compared to July 2020. While HMIL managed to export only 3,100 cars in July 2020, they pulled off a staggering 12,207 exports in July 2021. A 293.8 percent increase in sales saw HMIL expand its wings even more in India.

Tarun Garg, director sales, marketing & service, Hyundai motor India Ltd. said, "Hyundai registered domestic sales of 48 042 units in July backed by strong performance of our newly launched 6- and 7-seater SUV, "The Hyundai Alcazar" and our other segment defining products like Creta, i20 and Venue. A positive growth momentum is clearly visible in the Passenger Vehicle Industry with the stabilization of macro-economic factors, good monsoons and increase in consumer shift towards personal mobility."

The Alcazar has gained a lot of popularity among buyers and has registered over 11,000 booking already. The prices start from Rs 16.30 lakh and top at 19.99 lakh ex-showroom across the country and is offered in petrol and diesel engines. It comes with a long list of premium features such as 10.25-inch instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, automatic LED headlights, 64-colours ambient lighting, electric boot release and wireless charging are just few to name.
