Hyundai Exter facelift launched at Rs Rs 5.80 Lakh
Hyundai Motor Company has rolled out the facelifted Exter in India, with prices starting at Rs 5.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

The update does not bring major mechanical changes, but Hyundai says the small SUV now gets more than 25 improvements spanning styling, features and practicality. Bookings for the updated model are open with a token amount of Rs 11,000.
Under the hood, the Exter continues with the same powertrain options as before. The 1.2-litre petrol engine coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox or an AMT. Hyundai also continues to offer a factory-fitted CNG version that is paired only with a manual transmission.

One notable change in the CNG model is the relocation of the spare wheel beneath the vehicle. This frees up additional cargo room in the boot, increasing luggage capacity to 225 litres. Petrol variants retain the larger 391-litre boot space.
Hyundai has also revised the variant lineup for the Exter. The refreshed model is now available in five trims HX2, HX4, HX6, HX8 and HX10.

Inside the cabin, the facelift brings a new navy and grey dual-tone interior theme along with a 3D carbon-pattern finish on the dashboard. The Exter also gets a flat-bottom steering wheel and metal pedals. In terms of usability, Hyundai has made the height-adjustable driver's seat and rear headrests standard across all variants. Higher trims additionally come with a driver armrest for added comfort.
The feature list has been expanded as well. The Exter now includes a built-in dashcam and a rear Type-C charging port. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while Hyundai's Bluelink connected-car platform offers over 60 connected features. Other highlights include an electric sunroof, a digital instrument cluster and a voice assistant capable of responding to more than 300 commands without needing an internet connection. The system can also receive over-the-air updates for maps and infotainment functions.
On the outside, the styling changes are relatively subtle. The front fascia gets a new black grille and revised bumpers that give the SUV a slightly wider appearance. There are also new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. At the rear, Hyundai has added a wing-style spoiler and updated the C-pillar garnish. Two new exterior colours- Golden Bronze and Titanium Black Matte have also been introduced with the facelift.
