Citroen C3 specifications leaked ahead of launch, to get 2 engine options
A leaked document on the internet has revealed more about the kind of engines that will power the upcoming Citroen C3 crossover as well as its dimensions. The new Citroen is set to launch in India next month, after a full reveal in the coming weeks.
2022 Citroen C3 engine options
As previously reported by us, the Citroen C3's engine options suggest it will be a premium B-segment offering. The C3's base engine will be a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor expected to put out 82PS and 118 Nm. Higher variants should get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol that makes 110PS and 205 Nm. There should be manual as well as automatic options for both engine choices.
2022 Citroen C3 dimensions
The Citroen C3 will be 3,981mm long, 1733mm wide, 1,586mm tall and it will have a 2,540mm wheelbase. This makes it marginally smaller than the Renault Kiger in exterior dimensions but with a 40mm longer wheelbase.
2022 Citroen C3 interiors, features
The interiors of the upcoming Citroen C3 carries on with the brand's geometric design theme, with the tubular central panel in contrasting colour, a layered shelf below it and the C5 Aircross-inspired split AC vents. The squarish steering wheel with controls is seen here too but the highlight is the 10-inch widescreen touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple Carplay.
Practicality was focused on heavily with touches like the phone mount, numerous cubbies and class-leading elbow, knee and headroom. Boot space is 315l. Other features will be LED DRLS, digital instrumentation and numerous customisation options.
2022 Citroen C3 prices, launch date
Expect prices of the Citroen C3 to start from Rs 7 to 8 lakh when it launches by the middle of July. The C3 will compete against the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Tata Punch.
