Citroen Aircross X launched at Rs 8.29 lakh
The Citroen Aircross X has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 8.29 lakh and this new addition complements the recently launched Basalt X and C3X, strengthening the portfolio under the Citroën 2.0 "Shift Into the New" strategy.

The cabin features soft-touch leatherette wrapping on the instrument panel and door bolsters, bezel-less 10.25-inch infotainment display, 7-inch digital cluster, chic gold accents, a redesigned gear lever, ventilated leatherette seats, and diffused ambient lighting and footwell lighting to name a few.
Other noteworthy mentions include passive entry and push start, cruise control and speed limiter, auto IRVM and LED projector fog lamps, ventilated seats and 360° camera with satellite view.
The car also features Cara AI that speaks 52 Indian & global languages capable of switching mid-conversation. It controls vehicle essentials and remote functions like tyre pressure, lights, and door locks. It also helps with music, calls, reminders, flight status, cricket scores, and navigation. And also prioritises safety with voice SOS, crash alerts, and emergency assistance.
The safety suite includes six airbags, ESP, hill hold, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors (advanced Safety Suite
standard across variants), and consisting of more than 40 active and passive safety features.
When it comes to powertrain, there are two options on offer - 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. The former is good for 82 PS and 115 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The turbo petrol unit pushes 110 PS and 190 Nm of peak torque with the manual transmission and 205 Nm with the automatic transmission. The turbo unit is offered with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.
