Citroen C3 Aircross secures 5-star BNCAP rating
The Citroën Aircross SUV has achieved a 5-star safety rating for adult protection in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP).

- A score of 27.05/32 -earning 5 stars in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP)
- A score of 40/49 -earning 4 stars in Child Occupant Protection (COP)
- The safety suite include 6 airbags, ESC, ISOFIX, Hill hold, ISOFIX, ESC, all Seats 3-point seat belt standard across variants
The Citroën Aircross comes equipped with a suite of safety features including six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill-hold assist. The Aircross employs high-strength steel, Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS), and Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS) to manage front and side impacts while minimising cabin intrusion.
Other noteworthy mentions include LED projector headlamps, automatic air conditioning with climate control, power-folding ORVMs, a soft-touch instrument panel, grab handles, rear AC vents, and repositioned power window switches on the doors for easier access.

The Aircross SUV is available with two engine options, the 1.2-litre Gen 3 Puretech 110 turbo and the Puretech 82 naturally aspirated engine delivering up to 110ps and 205Nm of torque. Customers can choose between 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and 6-speed automatic transmissions. Along with it, a flexible seating configuration of 5S and 5+2 is available.
The Citroen Aircross rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Nexon, and Volkswagen Taigun to name a few.
