Citroen to have 30 dealerships in India by 2022 end
Alongside the full reveal of the Citroen C3, the firm has also laid down its network expansion plans for the Indian market. The Citroen C3 is set to be launched in India on July 20 with bookings opening on July 1.
Citroen India dealership expansionBy the time the C3 launches, Citroen will have 20 showrooms in 19 cities. This will be up from the current 11 showrooms in 10 cities. By the end of this year, this will have expanded to cover 30 dealerships in primarily Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
This is aside from the online buying options that Citroen offers with the C5 Aircross extending to the C3. Customers will be able to complete the entre buying process online and have their new car delivered home fully registered right from the factory.
Citroen India service initiativesThe many service initiatives that Citroen has so far launched in India will also be available with the Citroen C3. These will include online service support with remote diagnostics, pickup and drop for periodic maintenance and service, a 3 hr road-side assistance guarantee, service cost estimator on the website and a genuine spare part availability promise in 24 hours.
2022 Citroen C3 engine options
As previously reported by us, the Citroen C3's engine options suggest it will be a premium B-segment offering. The C3's base engine will be a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol motor expected to put out 82PS and 118 Nm. Higher variants should get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol that makes 110PS and 205 Nm. There should be manual as well as automatic options for both engine choices.
2022 Citroen C3 dimensions
The Citroen C3 will be 3,981mm long, 1733mm wide, 1,586mm tall and it will have a 2,540mm wheelbase. This makes it marginally smaller than the Renault Kiger in exterior dimensions but with a 40mm longer wheelbase.
2022 Citroen C3 prices, launch dateExpect prices of the Citroen C3 to start from Rs 5 to 9 lakh when it launches by the middle of July. The C3 will compete against B segment hatchbacks.
