Updated Hero Glamour launched in India; prices start at Rs 82,348
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched the refreshed Glamour with prices starting at Rs 82,348 (ex-showroom). The most significant change to the commuter comes in the form of an updated engine that now meets the latest emission regulations. It is available in two variants: Drum and Disc. Notably, the updated Glamour is now available in three colour schemes, namely Sports Red-Black, Candy Blazing Red, and Techno Blue-Black.
Updated Hero Glamour: Engine, gearbox, and mileage
Powering the Glamour is a OBD.2-compliant and E20-ready 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor generating 10.83PS at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Above all, the brand claims that the updated Glamour can return a mileage of 63kmpl.
Updated Hero Glamour: Features and specifications
Hero has equipped the Glamour with a digital cluster that displays odometer, speedometer, and real-time fuel economy. It also gets a new USB charging port and an idle engine start/stop system.
Further, the bike maker has lowered the ride height of the motorcycle for accessibility, hence the rider and pillion seats are now lowered by 8mm and 17mm, respectively. It also said to have re-profiled the fuel tank and has made the seat more spacious compared to the previous model.
Updated Hero Glamour: Variant-specific prices and rivals
The Drum variant of the update Glamour comes with a price tag of Rs 82.348 (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Disc variant costs Rs 86,348 (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, it rivals the likes of the Honda Shine 125, Bajaj CT 125X, and TVS Raider.
