Mahindra XUV700 hits 1 lakh sales milestone in less than 20 months

Mahindra has announced that they have successfully completed the 1 lakh deliveries of their flagship SUV, the Mahindra XUV700. Mahindra has also confirmed that the XUV700 is their fastest product to achieve this feat by doing it in under 2 years.

Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the XUV700 in August 2021, and it has become one of the most successful SUVs in the brand's history, with Mahindra successfully delivering 50,000 units within the first 12 months of its launch, followed by an additional 50,000 units in the following 8 months.

Speaking of how successful the XUV700 is, it has garnered 40 accolades and awards, including the prestigious '2022 Indian of the Year' in the last 20 months. The SUV also scored a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test

The XUV700 is available in five different variants: MX, AX3, AX5, AX7, and AX7L and across 3 different powerplants.

There's a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol motor generating 200PS and 380Nm. But Mahindra offers a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel unit with two different tunes - 155PS with 360Nm and 185PS with 420Nm (450Nm with AT). Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

The features list includes LED headlamps, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, roof rails, two 10.25-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, AdrenoX connected technology, drive modes, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, dual-zone climate control, EPB, wireless charging, and seven airbags.

Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 start from Rs 14 lakh rising all the way up to Rs 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom).
