KTM India teases 390 Adventure with spoked wheels; launch soon
KTM India has teased the hotly anticipated 390 Adventure with spoked wheels on its official social media handles. With old-school rims, the adventure motorcycle is expected to possess hard-core off-roading capabilities.
KTM 390 Adventure with spoked wheels: Launch and prices
Going by the teaser, KTM is likely to launch the spoked wheels 390 Adventure in the country in the coming weeks. The 2023 390 Adventure with spoked wheels may command a higher premium over the on-sale model, which comes with a sticker price of Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
KTM 390 Adventure spoked wheels: Highlights
Unveiled at the beginning of this year, the 390 Adventure received much-awaited spoked wheels finished black and made from aluminium. The good-old rims are wrapped in Continental TKC70 rubber - 19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the back. It is to be noted that since its introduction in 2019, KTM has sold the motorcycle with alloy wheels.
On top of that the two-wheeler manufacturer has also given the 2023 390 Adventure fresh graphics and a paint job. For reference, it now comes with a KTM Racing livery bundled in an orange and black combination. The exposed part of the trellis frame is also draped in a vivid orange shade. We expect KTM to offer this new colour scheme in India.
KTM 390 Adventure spoked wheels: Features and electronics
The on-sale 390 Adventure packs a raft of features and electronic aids for the riders and its latest version continues to offer all the same bells and whistles. It comes equipped with traction control, switchable dual-channel ABS, ride-by-wire, bidirectional quick shifters, slipper and assist clutch, LED lights, and a five-inch colour TFT dashboard.
KTM 390 Adventure spoked wheels: Hardwear
While the 390 Adventure available in international markets offers adjustable WP Apex suspension, the India-spec model misses out on the fully adjustable suspension setup. However, rumours have it that KTM could launch another trim, alongside the spoked wheels variant, with fully adjustable WP Apex suspension. Apart from that, the bike is likely to retain Bybre disc brakes.
Moreover, it is said that the bike maker could launch one more variant of the 390 Adventure, featuring lowered seat height, thanks to lowered front forks and rear monoshock.
KTM 390 Adventure spoked wheels: Engine
The KTM 390 Adventure uses a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 44PS at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
