Dark-themed Hyundai Creta Knight edition launched, iMT variant added to SUV line-up

Hyundai India has launched a new dark-themed version of the Creta SUV. This is termed the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition and prices start from Rs 13.35 lakh. The Creta Knight Edition is based on the mid-spec S Plus and top SX(O) variants and is available with the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options, with both manual and automatic options.

With the Hyundai Creta Kinght Edition, the SUV gets a gloss black grille with red accents, gloss black front and rear skid plates, dark alloy wheels with red brake callipers and more gloss black detailing along the side sills, door handles mirrors, roof rails and C-pillar. A Knight edition boot logo rounds off the exterior changes. On the inside, the Creta Knight Edition continues with its all-black theme. There is an all-black cabin with red accents for the airvents and contrasting seat stitching.

From Rs 13.35 lakh for the petrol MT, the Creta Knight Edition goes up to Rs 17.06 lakh for the SX(O) petrol CVT. The diesel manual is priced at Rs 14.31 lakh while the diesel AT costs Rs 18.02 lakh.

2022 Hyundai Creta new variants, iMT gearbox

Hyundai has also revamped the Creta's variant line-up for 2022. A new iMT clutchless manual option has been added for the S variant. This is paired with 115PS/144Nm 1.5-litre petrol and is priced at Rs 12.68 lakh. The features remain the same as the manual version already available. A new S Plus DCT variant has been added with single and dual-tone paint options paired with the 140PS turbo-petrol. This is priced at Rs 15.42 lakh and replaces the now discontinued X 1.4 Turbo DCT and SX 1.5 Diesel AT.
