The electric hatchback variant, to be called the "eC3," has been announced by French automaker Citroen. The eC3 has been spotted in its production-ready state in advance of its anticipated formal debut later this month.

Based on prior sightings, the observed Citroen eC3 may have had a charging port on the front fender. It was seen painted in an orange colour. With split headlights, steel wheels with covers, square taillamps, roof rails, and a dual-tone paint scheme, the eC3 resembles the ICE C3 in terms of outward aesthetics and design.

Although the C3 electric's specifications have not been made public, a 30.2 kWh battery pack is anticipated. The electric motor will have a maximum output of 87PS and a maximum torque of 143 Nm. We anticipate that it will have a potential driving range of 200 to 250 kilometres.

The 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, C-Buddy smartphone connectivity suite, voice commands, remote keyless entry, 12v socket, and USB charging outlets are just a few of the notable features that might be found within the Citroen eC3 electric.

The safety kit will have components including reverse parking sensors, engine immobilizers, ABS with EBD, and speed-sensitive auto door locks. Citroen may add some brand-new features to the C3 EV to increase its appeal.

Once launched the Citroen C3 EV will take on the Tata Tiago EV which is currently the most affordable electric car in the market.
