Audi India has announced that the local manufacturing of its 2021 Audi Q5 SUV, which is set to debut in the nation, has begun. The Audi Q5 has a prominent position in the Audi SUV portfolio, and the new Q5 may help the model's popularity grow even more.

The brand's ability to offer the Q5 at a reasonable price is expected to be aided by local manufacture.

The local manufacturing of the Audi Q5 for 2021 has begun at the brand's Aurangabad facility, and while an official launch date has yet to be announced, Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon previously stated that it will happen in November. Audi had to suspend sales of its popular Q3, Q5, and Q7 models in India last year when the country changed to BS 6 emission standards, which is why the facelift Q5 introduction is so significant.

The new Audi Q5 facelift is sharper and more dynamic than the outgoing model, and it features Audi's new family design elements prominently. The new chrome-finished octagonal single-frame grille adds to the car's commanding presence, while the new LED headlights complement its strong character. A revised front bumper, new fog lamps, dual exhaust tips at the back, and adjusted LED taillights complete the look. Sharp character lines on the hood and profile give the 2020 Audi Q5 a more muscular appearance.

There are modest changes in the arrangement of the new Q5's interior, as well as extra amenities aboard. A bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a new MIB3 platform is one of the equipment's standout characteristics. All regular connectivity functions, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, are also supported, as well as linked car technology with Amazon Alexa integration.
