2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift launched in India, prices start from Rs 6.57 lakh
Tata Motors has launch the facelifted 2021 Tata Tiago NRG in India, with prices starting from Rs 6.57 lakh for the manual . The Tiago NRG is the SUV-inspired derivative of the Tata Tiago hatch and comes with numerous styling cues to give it a crossover theme, having first launched in 2018. The Tiago NRG is already on sales at Tata Motors dealerships.

The 2021 Tata Tiago NRG gets the new headlamps and honeycomb grille from the Tiago facelift. Adding to this are more rugged looking bumpers with grey cladding and silver-highlighted ornamental scuff plates, body side and wheel arch moulding, roof rails and boot lid cladding. The roof, as well as the B and C pillar, also get a contrasting black wrap. Rounding off the changes are the blacked out outer mirrors and door handles and the new design for the alloy wheels. The ground clearance has increased by around 10mm to 181mm over the standard Tiago while there is a new style 15-inch alloy wheel design.

The interiors of the 2021 Tata Tiago NRG are done up in an all-balck theme with a distinct seat upholstery pattern. The Tiago NRG is based on the top-spec Tiago and gets a full suite of creature comforts like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto/Apple Carplay and 8 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, auto climate control, push-button start, steering mounted controls, height-adjustable driver's seat and auto-folding outer mirrors, among other things. Safety features include 2 afront airbags, ABS and corner stability control and carries over the 4-start Global NCAP rating of the standard Tiago.
2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift engine, gearbox
The Tiago NRG carries over the same engine-gearbox combination as the standard Tata Tiago. This means a 1,199cc three-cylinder petrol engine with 86PS and 113 Nm. The engine should pair with a five-speed manual and a five-speed AMT option. The Tiago NRG is equipped with a revised suspension tune to handle rougher terrain than the standard Tiago.
2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift expected price
Prices of the standard Tiago start from Rs 5 lakh and go up to Rs 6.95 lakh for the top XZA+ variant. With the Tiago NRG based on the top trim, the petrol AMT is priced at Rs 7.09 lakh, ex-showroom.
