Skoda Slavia and Kushaq made more affordable and top variants get new features

Skoda Auto India has announced revised prices for its highly popular Slavia and Kushaq models. For this festive season, both of these models will be available at a starting price of Rs 10.89 lakh. To commemorate the forthcoming holiday season, the Czech brand has also announced the new Slavia Matte Edition, as well as new feature enhancements for the top-spec variants of the sedan and SUV.

This reduces the base Slavia by Rs 50,000 and the base Kushaq by Rs 70,000, albeit both rates are only available during this festive season. Prior to the price cut, the Slavia began at Rs 11.39 lakh and the Kushaq SUV began at Rs 11.59 lakh.

Skoda Slavia Matte Edition

Skoda Auto India also debuted a new Slavia Matte Edition. This model will be available in Carbon Steel paint with a matte finish, according to the business. This Matte Edition is currently available with the Skoda Kushaq and has a starting price of Rs 16.19 lakh.

The door knobs and ORVMs will likewise be coated in a high-gloss black colour. Aside from these cosmetic alterations, the vehicle will retain the same features as the top-spec model, which has now been upgraded with additional amenities.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq: New features

Furthermore, the manufacturer has added additional comfort and convenience features to these models. Electric seats for the driver and co-driver seats are among the new features, as is an illuminated footwell area, a segment first.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available on the bigger 10-inch infotainment screen seen in Slavia and Kushaq with Style grades. Skoda Play Apps and a subwoofer in the back are further significant features. Slavia and Kushaq will become even more premium and enticing as a result of these additional features.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq: Powertrains

The sedan and SUV will continue to offer the same powertrain options. The Slavia Matte Edition will also be offered in both these engines. These include a 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine with 115PS and 178 Nm of torque. The vehicles also receive a more popular and more performance-oriented 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which produces a remarkable 150PS and 250 Nm of torque.
