KM3000 and KM4000 electric bikes launched in India, prices start from Rs. 1.27 lakh

Earlier this month, the Indian EV startup from Goa, Kabira Mobility had teased two of their offerings for the Indian market, the KM3000 and the KM4000. And now the company has announced the prices of the same. The KM3000, the supersport electric is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh whereas the street naked electric KM4000 has been priced at Rs. 1.37 lakh. Apart from the difference in styling, the KM3000 has a top speed of 100kmph with a range of 120km whereas the KM4000 has a higher top speed of 120kmph with a range of 140km, claims the company. Kabira Mobility will start accepting bookings from the 20th of this month and will commence deliveries in Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa and
Dharwad from May 1. 2021.

Speaking on the occasion, Jaibir S. Siwach, CEO of Kabira Mobility said, "It gives us immense pleasure to be there to launch these 'Made in India' hi-speed electric bikes. These bikes are a living testament to technological superiority and styling. We plan to extend our electric bike range by introducing more products to our portfolio. We believe that today's young and mobile Indian has a strong appetite for powerful bikes simultaneously without causing any damage to the environment, and so, we see significant potential for these bikes in India. We aim to create a strong network that will provide our customers with a world-class experience and encourage the electric super biking segment in India"

The KM3000 tips the scale at 138kg whereas the street naked KM4000 weighs 147kg. Both the bikes can be charged in two modes wherein the Eco mode takes 6hrs 30mins to fully charge the power packs and Boost mode that can charge the 80 per cent battery in just 50 minutes. Mentioning of the features its EV two-wheelers will come, Kabira will offer Combi-brakes, industry-leading range, fast onboard charging and roadside assistance. Additionally, these bikes will feature aerodynamic profile, fireproof battery, park assist and will have styling and performance that will make them more appealing than comparative IC motorcycles, mentions Kabira Mobility.
