I had the chance to test the KYT NZ-RACE helmet during my recent sessions at the California Superbike School, and it's safe to say, that this helmet stands as a pinnacle of track performance. I felt it was super light.
Final Thoughts:
While the NZ-RACE delivers exceptional performance and comfort, riders transitioning from Arai helmets may notice a difference in wind noise. However, with the use of earplugs, this issue can be easily mitigated. Additionally, the absence of a darker visor may limit usage during harsh light conditions, but this minor inconvenience pales in comparison to the overall excellence of the NZ-RACE. Especially as an ARAI user, I felt the vision was better here, 270degree horizontal and 90-degree vertical was a boon when riding in a tucked-in position on the track.
