Yamaha launch Moto GP inspired Monster Energy MT-15 at Rs 1.47 lakh

The Monster Energy Yamaha Moto GP inspired Edition of the MT-15, priced at Rs. 1,47,900, was unveiled today by Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (ex-showroom, Delhi). Yamaha Moto GP logo can be found on the tank shrouds, fuel tank, and side panels of the all-new MT-15 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition, emphasising its racing heritage.

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP version of the MT-15 has the same 155cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine and 6-speed gearbox as the standard model. It has a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 8,500 rpm and a maximum output of 18.5 PS at 10,000 rpm.

Yamaha's DNA is present in the MT-15, which is a dynamic and nimble street naked. On a Delta box frame, it continues to contain a side-stand engine cut-off, an A&S clutch, single-channel ABS, and a Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system. It also has a uni-level seat with a grab bar, a multi-function negative LCD instrument cluster, a bi-function LED headlight, an LED tail-light, and an under cowl. The MT-15 is as light as only 138 kg.
