Volkswagen Virtus gets the new Carbon Steel Grey Matte colour option
Volkswagen India has added a new matte paint scheme to the exterior colour selections for the Virtus sedan. The GT Plus models of the mid-size automobile now come in a new Carbon Steel Matte Grey colour. Per-bookings for this limited colour option is underway, with vehicle deliveries set to commence in October.
There will not be many differences on the new Virtus GT Edge model coated in Carbon Steel Grey Matte. The new colour sedan will be outfitted in the same way as the Deep Black Pearl-colored variant. The GT Edge variations differ from the regular Virtus GT only in terms of minor cosmetic alterations to the exterior and interior and the addition of a manual transmission.
The GT Plus model comes with a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine coupled with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT transmission. This motor is rated at 150PS and 250Nm of peak torque.
A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, an electric sunroof, a digital instrument cluster, and leather upholstery dominate the Volkswagen Virtus' cabin.
The Virtus comes with six airbags, multi-collision brakes, a reverse parking camera, electronic stability control and of course the sedan's 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
The Volkswagen Virtus range starts from Rs 11.48 lakh but the GT Plus range starts only from Rs 16.90 lakh.
