VinFast has reorganised its vehicle portfolio into three clearly defined automotive divisions and introduced two new ultra-luxury electric models - the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S.

Under this new structure, the Lac Hong brand will sit at the very top of the company's range as its premium, ultra-luxury offering. The line-up now includes the 800S and 900S, along with the previously announced 900 LX.

The VF range will continue to represent VinFast's mainstream passenger electric vehicles. This includes smaller urban models such as the VF 3, larger SUVs like the VF 9, and the VF MPV 7. Meanwhile, the Green brand will focus on commercial and service-oriented mobility solutions, offering vehicles such as the Limo Green and Nerio Green.

The newly revealed Lac Hong 800S and 900S underline VinFast's intention to compete in the high-end EV segment. Both models incorporate design elements inspired by Vietnamese culture. Exterior details reference bamboo patterns, traditional bronze drums, and terraced rice fields. The grille, emblem and styling accents are designed to symbolise strength and heritage, while the "Lac Hong" name appears in a distinctive script.

Inside, the cabins focus on luxury and craftsmanship. The interiors use materials such as Nappa leather, wood trim and gold-plated accents. Both vehicles are equipped with advanced safety systems and modern technology, along with comfort features like executive-style seating, automatic doors and premium entertainment systems.

The Lac Hong 900S offers additional features aimed at buyers seeking greater exclusivity. These include a privacy partition, a starlight-style headliner, a projection system and a fold-out workstation, allowing the cabin to function as both a relaxation space and a mobile office.

Performance is another highlight. Both the 800S and 900S come with a new fully active suspension system. They can also be configured with a tri-motor setup - one motor at the front and two at the rear producing up to 625 PS (460kW) of combined power.

VinFast plans to begin commercial sales of the Lac Hong 800S and 900S in 2027. With this three-brand strategy - luxury (Lac Hong), mass-market (VF), and commercial (Green), the company is aiming to create a clearer brand identity while expanding its presence across multiple segments of the electric vehicle market.
