Last week, Nissan teased its new concept vehicle to be unveiled at the Sao Paulo show in Brazil and now, here we have the images of the car. Christened Extrem, the crossover concept has a transparent A-pillar, wraparound glass and overlapping body panels. The Extrem is what Nissan calls as a "tough little street fighter that can handle the urban jungle with agility and confidence", more on the lines of its own Juke minus the extra doors. Akin to other crossovers, it boasts of a high ground clearance and possible 4-wheel drive.

Built on the versatile V-platform, the Extrem concept retains our very own Micra's wheelbase but is larger in its exterior dimensions. It is powered by a turbocharged direct injection 1.6-litre engine which incidentally also powers the Juke. The dampener though is that Nissan is adamant that this concept vehicle wouldn't be seen on the roads in a long time. In other words no immediate production plans.
