Toyota Innova Hycross is slated to get a new variant very soon. The new variant, known as GX (O), will be positioned as the top-spec choice for the petrol-only powerplant. Toyota has not released any pricing details, but the feature list has been revealed.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Variant and Features

Toyota at the moment sells the Innova Hycross in four trim levels: GX, VX, ZX, and ZX (O). G and GX are offered with a non-hybrid powertrain, whilst VX, ZX, and ZX (O) exclusively come with a hybrid powertrain. Toyota's new top variant for the Innova Hycross non-hybrid standard will be available in both 7 and 8-seater configurations.

The GX (O) will be positioned above the GX trim and will come with additional features like larger 10.1-inch infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, front parking sensors, 360-degree surround camera, rear sunshade, rear defogger, dual-tone interior with soft-touch dashboard, and LED fog lamps. Standard safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill Assist Control (HAC), and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Toyota Innova Hycross: Powertrain

The Innova Hycross GX (O) will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 173PS and 209Nm of torque. The engine comes standard with a CVT automatic transmission, which sends power to the front wheels only.

If you need a more economical option then you will have to step up to the Hybrid powertrain that returns a claimed mileage of 23.24 kmpl.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Pricing

Toyota has yet to release the price of the Innova Hycross GX (O). Prices for the Innova Hycross range from Rs 19.77 lakh for the base GX trim. The G variant is only available for commercial use. The hybrid range starts from Rs 25.72 lakh and rises all the way up to Rs 30.68 lakh for the ZX (O) variant. Expect the GX (O) variant to be priced at Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).
