Tata Sierra launched at Rs 11.49 lakh

The Tata Sierra has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 11.49 lakh ex-showroom and it is offered in seven trim options.

- Powered by a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that pushes 170 PS and 280 Nm 
- Gets panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Level-2 ADAS to name a few
- Rivals Tata Curvv, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and Honda Elevate to name a few

Powertrain
The New Tata Sierra will be using the new flagship 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with manual and automatic transmission options. The engine will produce 170 PS and 280 Nm of peak torque. A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine will also be offered with the new Tata Sierra. The diesel unit will be producing 118 PS and 260 Nm of peak torque.

Interiors
The noteworthy mentions inside the cabin includes four-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo at the centre, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, Level-2 ADAS,  wireless phone charger, a 12-speaker JBL sound system with a dashboard mounted soundbar, a 12.3-inch infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Dolby Atmos surround sound technology, a 10.25-inch digital driver's dash, two drive modes, three terrain modes, twin 65W USB Type-C charging ports at the back, electronic parking brake, powered and ventilated front seats, adjustable headrests and 3-point seatbelts, rear sunshades, and three screens on the dashboard (one for the driver and two for infotainment).

The standard safety equipment includes six-airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, front parking sensors, 360-degree camera, hill-hold, and ISO FIX seat anchors to name a few.

Exterior
The Tata Sierra gets a dual-tone colour theme with angular finishes which gives it a butch look. The feature list comprises of integrates the connected LED DRLs and projector LED headlights, vertically placed LED fog lamps, faux skid plate beneath the front bumper,  flush-type door handles, 19-inch alloy wheels, wheel arches with gloss finished body cladding, roof rails, integrated spoiler, a shark-fin antenna, and a full width LED taillight.

The Tata Sierra is available in six colourways - Munnar Mist, Andaman Adventure, Bengal Rouge, Coorg Clouds, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

The Tata Sierra will lock horns with the likes of the Tata Curvv, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Honda Elevate and Volkswagen Taigun to name a few.
