Tata Punch EV facelift launched at Rs 9.69 lakh
Tata Motors Punch EV facelift has been launched in India at a starting at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift brings cosmetic changes, added features and updates to the battery options. Bookings are now open, and deliveries are set to commence soon.

- 2 battery packs offered - 30 and 40 kWh
- Claimed range of 365 km and 468 km
- Features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
The refreshed Punch EV is available in six variants, offering buyers a choice between two battery packs 30kWh and 40kWh.
Prices go up to Rs 12.59 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the chosen variant. The larger 40kWh battery delivers an ARAI-certified range of 468km, with a claimed real-world C75 range of 355km. The smaller 30kWh battery offers an ARAI-rated range of 365km. Tata Motors is also providing a lifetime, unlimited-kilometre warranty on the battery pack.
The 40kWh versions are powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 129 PS, sending power to the front wheels. DC fast-charging capability remains unchanged, with the company claiming a 20 to 80 percent charge in 26 minutes using a 65 kW charger. A quick 15-minute charge can add up to 135 km of range.

Inside, the cabin layout remains familiar but now features updated trims and a dual-tone finish. Higher trims come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Depending on the variant, features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, connected car technology and a 360-degree camera.
On the safety front, six airbags are now standard across the range. Other features include electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, high beam assist, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
In terms of design, the facelifted model adopts subtle styling changes. The front bumper has been redesigned with a closed grille for a cleaner look, and the black strip that earlier connected the headlamps has been removed. The Y-shaped LED DRLs and centrally positioned charging port continue. New 16-inch aero-style alloy wheels, inspired by larger Tata EVs, have been added, along with three fresh exterior colour choices featuring a contrasting black roof.
At the back, the Punch EV now gets connected LED tail-lamps, similar to the updated ICE Punch. The electric SUV offers 195mm of ground clearance and a water-wading capability of 450mm.
Tata has also revised the pricing structure, with the base variant now costing Rs 30,000 less than before.
In the market, the Punch EV facelift competes with the Citroen eC3.
