Ducati has launched a new factory-level customisation initiative called Ducati Factory Made (DFM), giving customers the option to personalise their motorcycle before it rolls out of the production line. The programme has made its debut in Europe and is currently available for the Multistrada V4.

Through DFM, buyers can configure several elements of the bike at the time of order. Wheel choices include cast units in different colours, forged light alloy wheels, and traditional spoked wheels. Customers can also select the shade of the rear subframe and brake calipers. Seat height adjustments are available for both rider and passenger, while suspension settings can be tuned based on individual riding needs.
In addition, Ducati allows buyers to equip the Multistrada V4 with accessories from its Touring, Adventure, Sport, Tech, and Enduro kits. This makes it easier to set up the motorcycle according to its intended purpose whether that is long-distance travel, off-road riding, or sporty road use.
For the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and RS versions, the configurator offers model-specific features and graphics. Extra options include different seat heights, alternative brake caliper colours, auxiliary lights, and carbon fibre components.
On the styling front, Ducati has organised the available finishes into three themes: Icone, Style, and Sophistication. Each theme offers distinct paint schemes and visual treatments. Buyers can also opt for Performance or Ducati Corse liveries, inspired by Ducati's racing heritage.
The programme further introduces five exclusive Ad Personam paint finishes, developed as part of Ducati's collaboration with Lamborghini.
At present, Ducati Factory Made is accessible through the brand's official website but is limited to European customers and only for the Multistrada V4 range. Once a configuration is completed online, it can be forwarded to a Ducati dealership for pricing. The company is expected to extend the programme to additional models and regions at a later stage.
