Tata Punch EV expected to make debut in quarter 3 of 2023

The Punch EV has been approved by Tata Motors for the Indian market. The all-electric Punch hasn't had an official release date confirmed, but rumours indicate that it might start selling in the third quarter of 2022.

After the well-liked Nexon EV, the newly upgraded Tigor EV, and the forthcoming Tiago EV, the electric version of the SUV should make it the fourth electric car produced by Tata. The Punch EV will also employ the Ziptron powertrain, which is available in a variety of variants, much as these three vehicles.

The Punch EV should include all the features seen in Tata's other EVs, including adjustable regenerative braking, more connected capabilities, leatherette upholstery, and EV-specific drive modes. Things like the twin airbags, automatic climate control, semi-digital instrument cluster, and seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system should be kept.

We are unable to predict the powertrain options that will be offered with the Tata Punch EV, but we can predict its stated single-charge range, which is somewhere between 250 and 300 kilometres.

The business will now offer a total of four passenger electric vehicles, including the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, and Nexon EV, with the introduction of the new Punch EV.
