Tata commences bookings for Tiago and Tigor AMT CNG
After teasing the Tigor and Tiago CNG automatic, Tata has now started bookings for the Tiago and Tigor AMT CNG. Interested customers can reserve their CNG AMT variants by paying a token amount of Rs. 21,000 at their nearest Tata Motors showroom or online through the brand's offciail website. That being said, we expect Tata to launch the new CNG-automatic variants in the coming days.
Tata Tiago and Tigor AMT CNG: Variants and colours
Tata Tiago AMT CNG will be available in three variants: XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG. Whereas, the Tigor CNG AMT will come in two variants: XZA and XZA+. Also on offer a new colour, called Tornado Blue, Grassland Beige and Meteor Bronze, with the Tiago NRG, Tiago, and Tigor. In addition, there is a new creep function for the CNG AMT models for easy manoeuvrability.
Tata Tiago and Tigor AMT CNG: Powertrain
The Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT will come powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, natuarally aspirated petrol engine, which in the CNG mode will produce 73.4PS and 95Nm of torque. The k ioth the Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT feature twin-cylinder CNG technology. The CNG-automatic variants will also benefit from a Direct start in CNG mode and an auto engine turn off function, called micro switch.
Tata Tiago and Tigor AMT CNG: Prices
The on-sale Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG (with manual gearbox) prices range between Rs 6.55 lakh and 8.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 8.95 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the CNG-automatic variants of the sedan and hatchback will command a higher premium of around Rs 70,000-90,000 over the current models.
