Suzuki Motor Corporation has revealed the inside of the eVX electric SUV at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. Along with the Swift concept, Suzuki presented a more refined version of the India-bound eVX concept, which debuted at Auto Expo 2023. This also happens to be the first time we get a glimpse of what the interior of the upcoming eVX will look like.

Suzuki eVX: Interior and Features

The Suzuki eVX has a modern interior design that includes a dual-integrated display system similar to Mercedes' approach for both driver information and infotainment. The dashboard features four vertical slats that mimic the look of vertically oriented AC vents, while the centre panel is simple in design, with touch controls for crucial functions.

What makes this interior unique is that, while many of the pieces appear futuristic, such as the steering wheel, the design of the individual parts on the window and ORVM switches, and the font on the entertainment system. The design concept also includes a rotary knob in the bottom centre console that looks to operate as a drive selector.

Dual-tone upholstery, and ambient lighting. HUD, wireless phone mirroring, level-2 ADAS, linked car technology, V2L, V2X, and V2V technology are among the features expected for the production-ready model. The eVX will also include headrests for all three second-row passengers as well.

Suzuki eVX: Dimensions and Powertrain

Maruti had already specified that the new SUV would be 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide, and 1,600mm high. It will also have a wheelbase of 2,700mm. Maruti has also stated that it would be built on a specific new BEV platform and will have a battery capacity of 500km.

Power figures are expected to be somewhere between 140PS and 170PS. We also anticipate an all-wheel drive variant to be offered alongside the front-wheel drive standard offering.

The eVX will be followed by 5 other EVs from the brand by 2030. The production-ready model will be Suzuki's as well as Maruti's first-ever EV. It is expected that the car will be supplied, produced, and even exported from India.
