Suzuki E-Access launched at Rs 1.88 lakh
The Suzuki E-Access has been launched at Rs 1.88 lakh and bookings are now open. It is the brand's first electric scooter and is powered by an LFP battery.

Powertrain
The Suzuki E-Access uses a 3.0-kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery that powers a swingarm mounted motor which pushes 5.6 PS of power and 15 Nm of peak torque. And the company claims a range of 95 km (IDC) on a single charge.
It comes with three ride modes and a reverse mode which is easy to toggle with just one switch. The eco mode is the most frugal mode with a range of 95 km and a top speed locked at 55 kmph. There are two other modes; Ride A and Ride B, the former has high regen and Ride B has low regen, almost negligible. But the top speed moves up to 71kmph.
Charging
The Suzuki E-Access can be charged from 0-80 per cent with an off-board DC fast charger in 1 hr and 12 minutes and tops up the electric scooter in 2 hr and 12 minutes. The portable AC charger can juice up the electric scooter from 0-80 per cent in 4 hr and 30 minutes and a 100 per cent charge with the same AC charger will take 6 hr and 42 minutes.
In terms of featurers, the Suzuki E-Access comes with a 4.2-inch colour TFT dash, call controls, turn-by-turn navigation, a keyless system, an answer back function that lets you locate the electric scooter, a USB charging port, seat lock function, underseat hook, rear brake lock, a hazard switch, and 17-litres of bootspace.
