Skoda to increase prices of all its models by two per cent from January 2024
Skoda Auto India has announced an upward price revision of two per cent for all of its cars with effective from January 2024. These models are the Kodiaq, Slavia, and Kushaq. That being said, the brand has said that the hike attributes to rising supply, input, and operational costs.
With this, Skoda Auto India has become the latest automaker to join the bandwagon of the brands, namely BMW, Audi, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Citroen, Hyundai, and MG, to announce a price hike as the new year is upon us.
In other news, the carmaker recently launched the Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Editions in India with prices starting at Rs 17.52 lakh and Rs 18.31 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Both special edition models will be available only with the 1.5 TSI engine and will be in limited numbers. Powering the Slavia and Kushaq is the 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine generating 150PS and 250Nmof torque and mated to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
