Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition launched in India, prices start from Rs 17.52 lakh

Skoda has introduced the Elegance Edition of the Kushaq and Slavia, priced at Rs 18.31 lakh and Rs 17.52 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom). Both vehicles will be made in limited numbers and will only be offered with the 1.5 TSI engine.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition: Design

The Elegance Edition features all-new Deep Black paint in both automobiles while keeping the silver components throughout. The lettering 'Elegance' on the B-pillars further enhances the looks of both vehicles.

The Slavia also sports a chrome trunk garnish and a Scuff plate with the word 'Slavia' engraved on it. The Kushaq is outfitted with 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while the Slavia's sedan lines are accentuated with 16-inch Ving alloy wheels.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition: Powertrain

The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 150PS and 250 Nm in the Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition models. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq Elegance Edition: Interior

Interior changes over the top-spec for the Slavia Elegance Edition, style trim includes door sill scuff plates. Both cars have new mats and aluminium pedals, as well as Elegance emblems on their steering wheels, seats, and neck rests. The features remain the same, including the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital cluster, as well as the six-speaker plus subwoofer sound system, electrically operated driver and co-driver seats as well as an illuminated footwell area.

The Kushaq in October 2022, and the Slavia in April 2023, were the first cars manufactured in India to earn a full 5 stars for adults and children under Global NCAP's newer, stricter crash-test protocols.

The Kushaq Elegance Edition costs Rs 20,000 more than the Style trim and Rs 12,000 more than the Matte Edition. Meanwhile, the Slavia Elegance Edition is Rs 40,000 more expensive than the Style trim and Rs 20,000 more expensive than the Matte Edition model.
