Skoda Peaq electric SUV teased
Skoda Auto is preparing to unveil its new flagship electric SUV, the Skoda Peaq, later in 2026. Positioned above models like the Skoda Enyaq and Skoda Elroq, the Peaq will become the largest and most advanced EV in the brand's lineup.

- Two battery options: 63 kWh and 91 kWh
- A claimed range of more than 600 km
- 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds
The Peaq is based on the earlier Vision 7S concept and brings a strong focus on space, practicality, and technology. Measuring 4,874mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,965mm, it is significantly bigger than both the Enyaq and even the Skoda Kodiaq. This larger footprint translates into impressive interior space, especially for families.
Buyers will be able to choose between 5-seat and 7-seat layouts. The 5-seater version offers a massive boot space of up to 1,010 litres, which Skoda claims is the largest in any of its production models. In the 7-seater version, boot capacity drops to 299 litres, but both versions include a small 37-litre front trunk (frunk). A unique touch is the inclusion of a QR code in the boot area that links to a guide explaining how to use the storage space efficiently.
On the performance front, the Peaq will come with two battery options: 63 kWh and 91 kWh. The smaller battery, available only with a rear-wheel-drive setup, is expected to deliver over 460km of range. The larger 91 kWh pack will be offered with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, delivering a claimed range of more than 600 km.

Power outputs vary depending on the version. The base and mid variants produce up to 286 PS with a single motor, while the top-spec all-wheel-drive model generates up to 299 PS using a dual-motor setup. This version is also the quickest, accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds. Fast-charging capability is another highlight, with all variants expected to charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.
Inside, the Peaq focuses heavily on comfort and technology. It features a large 13.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 10-inch digital driver display. Other highlights include wireless charging, an augmented reality head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof with adjustable transparency. An optional Relax Package adds features like massaging seats, adjustable footrests, ambient lighting presets, and wellness modes such as relaxation and stretching.
True to Skoda's reputation, the SUV will include several "Simply Clever" features like a foldable table, ticket holder, and integrated cleaning tools. The cabin will primarily use sustainable materials, though leather upholstery will be offered in higher trims.
Although the Peaq is still under camouflage, visible design elements include LED Matrix headlights, aerodynamic wheels ranging from 19 to 21 inches, and a sleek, modern silhouette. While its global debut is expected in mid-2026, there is also a possibility that Skoda may introduce this flagship EV in India in the future.
