Revolt Motors to re-open bookings for its electric bikes
Revolt Motors has announced the re-opening of bookings for its RV400 and RV300 electric bikes on July 15, at 12pm. As a result of rising petrol prices, Revolt is seeing an increasing demand for its electric bikes and last opened bookings in the six cities it operates in - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad - in mid-June, but soon had to close the bookings with all bikes being sold out within two-hours of bookings going live. Revolt Motors is reopening bookings after a hiatus of almost a month with all sales completely booked for the period. Deliveries of booked bikes will commence from September this year.
One can register for bookings through the 'Notify Me' tab on the Revolt Motors website.
The RV400 comes fitted with a 3KW motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24kWh Lithium-Ion battery which allows the Electric bike to reach a top speed of 85kmph. The RV400 comes with three riding modes, Eco, Normal and Sport, with a claimed range of 150km in Eco, 100km in Normal and 80km in Sport mode. Revolt Motors claim that the RV400 's battery can be charged from 0-100 per cent in 4.5 hours. The bike can be operated through MyRevolt App, which offers a long list of connectivity features complete bike diagnostics in addition to bike locator/geo fencing feature, customised sounds that you can alter with just a tap on the screen, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap your Revolt's battery.
The Revolt RV300 features a 1.5KW hub motor, 60V, 2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery which promises a range of 180km. Both the RV400 and RV300 models feature three riding modes - Eco, Normal and Sport and sport a USD fork up-front and a fully-adjustable monoshock at the rear.
