Royal Enfield's initiative to fight COVID-19
Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, kick started the #REGearUp campaign. The digital campaign encourages people to use headgears to cover their face when leaving the house. Understanding the problem at hand, Royal Enfield urges their community riders to teach people how to use their headgears to cover their faces in these testing times and keep themselves protected & safe.
In the ongoing situation, there is a significant shortage of N-95 masks, which is highly essential for healthcare providers in hospitals across India. Many hospitals are struggling to arrange personal protective equipment kits for their staff. Through our riding community, we want to highlight how to use the mask, sterilize it and also take proper care of ourselves while going out, taking deliveries, coming in contact with anyone possible. These headgears can be easily washed and can be used repeatedly,
In order to protect and prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Royal Enfield is all set to launch the headgears with Polygiene Stay Fresh Technology treatment that uses naturally occurring silver salt to stop the growth of bacteria.
With the objective to spread the message, the riding community across the country joined us and further contributed to the goal of halt the spread of COVID-19.
