Nurburgring to house Hyundais new test centre
Hyundai has started construction of a new test centre at the legendary Nurburgring track in Germany. The Korean company has already invested 5.5 million Euros in this testing facility. With this new facility, Hyundai is aiming to enhance the driving dynamics of its cars. This move comes close on the heels of Hyundai's re-entry into the WRC series.
Allan Rushforth, senior vice president and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe, said: "The new Hyundai test centre at Nürburgring is an expression of our intention to focus on improving the customer experience of our vehicles, such as ride and handling â" an important consideration for European drivers. The new centre represents a significant investment, and one we expect will significantly contribute to enhancing the perception of the Hyundai brand and our key competitive competence in Europe."
