Nissan India said on Monday that it has partnered with Zoomcar and Orix for Nissan and Datsun vehicle subscription service. The Nissan Intelligent Ownership model is presently offered in Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Nissan claims that the Subscription Plan is well-suited to the Indian customers' progressive and asset-lite lifestyle. The Nissan Intelligent Ownership Subscription Plan is also said to be transparent and free of hidden expenses since the client only pays a modest refundable security deposit at the start of the subscription and then a fixed monthly charge for the duration of the subscription.

All maintenance costs, including regular and unscheduled repairs, tyre and battery replacement, 24x7 roadside assistance, cost of paperwork, zero depreciation insurance, registration charge, road tax and RTO expenditures, are covered by the Nissan Intelligent Ownership subscription plan.

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said "Customer's lifestyle is progressively evolving and this initiative by Nissan, Zoomcar & ORIX empowers the customer on being asset-lite with strong saving potential. The Nissan Intelligent Ownership subscription plan is very innovative with Share-Back in the subscription space as its affordable, flexible and provides enjoyable car ownership experience with saving potential for Nissan and Datsun customers,"

Greg Moran, CEO & Co-Founder Zoomcar said, "We are delighted to partner with Nissan Motor India and ORIX to offer flexible subscriptions as an alternative to vehicle ownership. It is simply the most affordable and quickest way of acquiring a seamless personal mobility option. At an overall level, Zoomcar continues to focus on adding enterprise partners such as Nissan to our industry-leading vehicle subscription-based enterprise software program. The flexibility, convenience, and inherent affordability of car subscriptions will continue to attract new segments of customers to personal mobility, and we're thrilled to be a major part of this transformation."

Customers may book the subscription plan they choose on the Nissan India website in the regions that are available.

In addition, Nissan India has also established an end-to-end digital platform to provide clients with a totally contactless vehicle purchase experience. Starting with an interesting exploration facilitated by a virtual showroom and virtual test drive, the site gives handy alternatives to customise the vehicle, analyse the exchange value of an existing car, calculate and compare EMIs, and apply for financing before reserving their own car.
