New Ather 450X HR variant to reportedly offer longer range
A recently leaked document has revealed fresh details about the upcoming Ather 450X HR, which could be a new variant in the 450X line-up. Above all, the 'HR' in its suffix hints to a high range model. In fact, the electric scooter offers longer range according to homologation document.
Ather 450X HR: Highlights
The leaked document of the 450X HR comes with a 3.66kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 158km (as per AIS 040 standards) compared to 150km of the on-sale 450X with a 3.7kWh battery pack. However, the electric motor offered with the upcoming 450X HR delivers the same maximum power of 6.4kW as the current model. Plus, it features five ride modes, namely Warp, Sport, Ride, Smart Eco, and Eco.
The 450X HR will measure 1,837mm in length, 739mm in width, and 1,114mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,296mm. Although the width, height, and wheelbase are identical, the 450X HR is shorter by 54mm than the 450X.
Ather 450X HR: Pricing
Currently, Ather sells the 450S, 450X with a 2.9kWh battery pack, and the 450X with a 3.7kWh, priced at Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom), Rs 1,37,999 (ex-showroom), and Rs 1,44,921 (ex-showroom), respectively. Given its high range tag in its name, the 450X HR might command a higher price tag than the range-topping 450X model.
