MG ZS EV now comes with Level-2 ADAS features

MG Motor India today introduced a revised version of its electric SUV, the ZS EV with Autonomous Level-2 (ADAS) for a limited-time pricing of Rs 27.89 Lakh. The new variant comes equipped with 17 ADAS features come with three levels of sensitivity. The Autonomous Level-2, (ADAS) set of features enhances the driving experience by providing assistance, control, and comfort in various driving situations.

MG ZS EV: Level 2 ADAS

The MG ZS EV's Autonomous Level 2 (ADAS) technology improves the driving experience and passenger safety by operating on three degrees of sensitivity - low, medium, and high - and three levels of warning - tactile, aural, and visual. Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Speed Assist System (SAS), Lane Assist Functions, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) are all part of the package.

MG ZS EV: Powertrain and Features

The MG ZS EV gets a larger 50.3 kWh pack with a more powerful electric motor putting out 176PS. The ARAI certified range has gone up to 461 km as a result, up from the 419 km offered by the previous 44.5 kWh battery pack. The 2023 MG ZS EV can do 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5s.

Feature highlights of the MG ZS EV are the new 10.1-inch touchscreen with the AI assistant, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, powered seats, panoramic sunroof, e-brake, heated ORVM, rain-sensing wipers, PM2.5 filter, front and rear armrests and a Bluetooth-operated digital key for locking/unlocking and starting the ZS EV.

MG ZS EV: Prices and Competition

The MG ZS EV range starts from Rs 23.38 lakh but if you want the Level 2 ADAS features, you will need the new top-of-the-line variant. It rivals the Hyundai Kona and the BYD Atto 3.
