Maruti Suzuki Victoris revealed

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been showcased and the SUV will be offered with petrol, CNG and strong hybrid powertrains.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris will be offered with two powertrain options-  a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, mild-hybrid petrol engine that pushes 103 PS of power and 139 Nm of peak torque. Another 1.5-litre, three-cylinder strong hybrid unit that pushes 92.45 PS and 122 Nm of peak torque.  The gearbox options include a five-speed and six-speed torque converter for the petrol engine, a five-speed manual for CNG powertrain and an e-CVT transmission for the strong hybrid setup.

The CNG guise features a factory-fitted setup with an underbody fuel tank design to offer ample amount of boot space. The strong hybrid version that comes mated to an e-CVT transmission comes with a choice of multiple drive modes - Eco, Power and Normal.

There is an ALLGRIP Select 4x4 system on offer that is also equipped with Multi-Terrain Mode Selector with Auto, Snow, Sport, and Lock drive modes and Hill Descent Control.

The feature list includes a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster with multiple display modes, a 10.1-inch touchscreen SmartPlay Pro X infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto, and integrated app store having 35+ apps, Alexa Auto Voice A15, OTA updates, an 8-speaker surround sound system, a 64-colour customisable backlit ambient mood lighting system, and a PM2.5 filter to name a few.

It also comes equipped with a suite of ADAS features such as Automatic Emergency Brake, Adaptive Cruise Control with Curve Speed Reduction, Lane Keep Assist, High Beam Assist, Rear Cross traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitor with Lane Change Alert to name a few. Other mentions include 6 airbags available as standard, All-Wheel Disc Brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Auto 360 view camera activation with front parking sensors, rear parking sensors, and electronic parking brake with brake hold.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris will lock horns with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate and Kia Seltos to name a few.
