Honda Dio 125 X-edition launched at Rs 87,733
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a new version of its popular scooter, the Dio 125 X-edition, priced at Rs 87,733 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant focuses mainly on cosmetic updates while retaining the same mechanical setup as the standard Dio 125.

The Dio 125 X-edition is powered by a 123.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.3 PS and 10.5 Nm of torque. It uses the same chassis and carries over the same features as the regular model, ensuring no change in performance or riding experience.
What makes the X-edition stand out is its dual-tone paint scheme, complemented by contrasting red alloy wheels that give the scooter a sportier appearance. It also gets a TFT display, but unlike the top-spec H-Smart variant, it does not offer Bluetooth connectivity for call and notification alerts or music control.

In terms of pricing, the X-edition costs Rs 1,000 more than the standard Dio 125 but is Rs 3,950 cheaper than the H-Smart variant, which comes with keyless ignition.
The Honda Dio 125 continues to compete with other sporty 125cc scooters in India, including the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid and Hero Xoom 125.
