Maruti Suzuki commences exports of the Fronx
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has begun the exports of the made-in-India Fronx crossover. The first batch consisting of 556 units was shipped from Mundra, Mumbai and Pipavav ports to Africa, Latin America, and Middle East. Meanwhile, the Fronx, Maruti' Baleno-based crossover, was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2023.

The prices of the Maruti Fronx range between Rs 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Engine, power output, and transmission
The Fronx gets two engine options: 1.0-litre, inline three-cylinder, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol motor with 100PS/148Nm and a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated, Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine with 90PS/113Nm. The former returns a mileage of 21.79kmpl with a five-speed manual gearbox and 22.89kmpl with a five-speed AMT transmission. Whereas, the latter has fuel economy of 21.5kmpl with a five-speed manual gearbox and 20.01kmpl with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Maruti offers various features, such as a wireless charging pad, a heads-up display, paddle shifters, LED headlights, cruise control, an auto headlamp with follow me home, an engine start/stop button, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartPlay Pro+, a six-speaker Arkamys sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Suzuki Connect, USB fast charging ports (Type-C and Type-A), built-in voice assistant, 360deg camera, OTA updates, six airbags, hill hold assist, and ESP.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Variants and colours
The crossover is offered in a choice of in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Additionally, customers can pick from a range of eight shades: Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Artic White, Splendid Silver, and Opulent Red, including three dual-tone colours: Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, and Earthen Brown with a Bluish Black roof.
