Triumph Motorcycles is launching the Street Triple R in India today. Positioned below the range-topping RS variant that was launched in April 2020 at Rs 11.13 lakh, the Street Triple R will be new range started instead of the S base variant that was offered in the previous iteration. Powering the Street Triple R is Triumph's Moto2 derived 765cc triple engine that 116PS of power at 12,000rpm and generates 78Nm of torque at 9,400rpm. The power figure remains unchanged compared to the previous iteration of the R variant. In terms of design, the twin LED headlight unit has been reworked and continue to feature an air intake and flyscreen. The mirror design and the graphics on the motorcycles have been updated too. The motorcycle will be available in Sapphire Black and Matt Silver Ice colour with Diablo Red & Aluminium Silver decals, red wheel pinstripes and red rear sub-frame.
