Lexus to showcase new models at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show
Lexus has scheduled the appearance of two cars at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, namely the new Lexus RC Coupe and the new LF-NX Concept.
Two versions of the RC will be unveiled, the RC 350 and the RC 300h hybrid. The LF-NX, first debuted at the Frankfurt Auto Show, and now comes with a turbocharged unit.

The RC 350 comes with a 3.5-litre V6 engine and the RC 300h gets a a 2.5-litre unit. It measures 4,695mm long, 1,840mm wide and 1,395mm high, with a 2,730mm wheelbase. On the outside the cars get a spindle grille upfront, triangular lamps with LED DRLs, rear combination lamps with 'L' motif and multi-spoke machined 18/19inch alloys. The RC's interiors make use of new materials and illumination ideas to lend the cabin a plush feel, as do the racing seats. 'Clove' inserts with 'shimamoku' highlights generate a high-contrast look. Upper part of the central console has the instrument panel and 7-inch navigation screen while the Remote Touch Interface controller is placed lower down.
Lexus claims the new LF-NX has a lower centre of gravity
The LF-NX mostly remains the same,the dimensions, the sharp contours and the Remote Touch Interface controller with a touchpad. The LF-NX is 4,640mm long, 1,870mm wide and 1,620mm high, with a 2,700mm wheelbase. Lexus claims the new model has a lower centre of gravity. It is powered by a new 2.0-litre turbocharged unit. Performance details are still unknown.
