Lexus commences deliveries of RX 500h F Sport Performance in India
Lexus India has initiated customer deliveries of the fifth-generation RX 500h F Sport Performance in the country. Launched in April last year, the new-generation SUV is offered in two trims: RX 350h and RX 500h F Sport Performance, priced at Rs 95.80 lakh and Rs 1.18 crore (both ex-showroom).
Lexus RX 500h F Sport: Powertrain
The RX 500h F Sport is powered by a 2.4-litre inline-four-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a dual electric-motor setup. The system produces an output of 366PS and 460Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from zero to 100kmph in a claimed 6.2 seconds. In comparison, the RX 350h achieves this in 7.9 seconds.
Lexus RX 500h F Sport: Exterior & Interior
The key highlights include the signature spindle grille, sharp cuts and creases, unique belt and shoulder lines, door-mounted outside rearview mirrors, a rear light bar spanning its width, 21-inch aluminium alloy wheels, and Lexus' signature daytime driving lights. The SUV also gets an e-latch system.
The interior, known as the Tazuna Cockpit, draws inspiration from controlling a horse with reins. It offers three distinctive interior themes: Dark Sepia, Solis White, and Black. Noteworthy features include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a heads-up display, dual-zone temperature control, a panoramic sunroof, and support for the Lexus India app.
Lexus RX 500h F Sport: Features
The SUV is equipped with rear-wheel steering, providing up to four degrees of alignment with the front wheels. Additional features include active sound control, Electronically Controlled Brake System (ECB), seven airbags, and four drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport, and Custom). In terms of active safety features, Lexus has incorporated Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Lane Departure Assist, Pre-Collision System Vehicle Detection, and safe exit assist.
