Launched: Ford Endeavour Alterrain in India at Rs 19.14 lakh

Ford India has launched a special edition variant of its Endeavour SUV in India. Called Endeavour Alterrain, the SUV boasts of a host of new features and a Rs 19.14 lakh ex-Thane price tag.

The goodies that it comes with include a new grille, a hood decal, chrome highlights and new 16-inch alloys. Inside, akin to the new Figo, there are audio controls on the steering wheel, reverse camera the screen of which doubles up as navigation system when not in use and new dashboard fascia. The Endeavour Alterrain edition comes with a 156PS 3.0-litre engine mated to a 5-speed auto transmission and shift-on-fly all-wheel drive.
