Launched Audi A8L 4.2 TDI Quattro in India

Audi India has launched a new variant of the A8L , the 4.2 TDI Quattro. The new variant has been priced at Rs 1.075 crore, ex-Maharashtra. Powered by a 4.2-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 350PS of power and a whopping 800Nm of torque, the A8L 4.2TDI races from 0-100kmph in a claimed 5.6s, which is second only to the range topping W12 A8L's 4.7s. The engine is mated to a tiptronic 8-speed automatic gearbox. The claimed combined fuel efficiency is 13.1kmpl.

The 4.2 TDI slots between the 4.2 FSI and 6.3 W12 variants. Audi also sells the base 3.0 TDi in India.
